Everyone has heard of Pablo Picasso because of his incredible painting skills, but did you know that many of the things he said about art and painting have become famous quotes? When I used his quote 'art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life', I decided to take a look around the internet for other quotes by him. I found so many! I just had to make another plate displaying one.

How appropriate is that for my ceramic painting meets art journaling project? Here's the resulting piece.
This was made with Duncan® Cover Coats®. These are quickly becoming my favorite product to use because they come in a wide variety of bright and vivid colors (which I love so very much) and they give opaque coverage. You can really mimic the look of a paper journal page with them. When you're done, all you have to do is give them a good coat or two of Pure Brilliance® clear glaze and the color will jump right off of the page! Or plate, in this instance.
