I made this plate while I was still mentally hungover from the recent road trip I took to follow my favorite person in the world who I never met, Dave Davies, on his short tour of California (read all about it here). I was so totally blown away by the experience that I knew that my next plate was going to be all about it. It is oozing with symbolism. The purple color matches the hue of the shirt that Dave wears for his performances. The words are from a brand new song off of his brand new album called Côte du Rhône (I Will Be Me), which like many of his songs sends a very inspiring message. There are Flowers in the Rain which is the song that sent me into an emotional breakdown when he sang it at one of the shows after blowing me a kiss. There's even a little tear rolling down the cheek of the flower. Don't worry, it's not a tear from being sad. It's a tear of happiness from doing something amazing that ended up being a million times more awesome than I ever imagined.
